Invitation for Junior Female Physicians
Ethiopian Medical Women’s Association (EMeWA) in collaboration with Dereja.com has organized a six days training on soft skills under its professional development thematic area for junior medical doctors who have entered the health work force in recent years.

EMeWA is a professional association which has the vision to develop a culture in which Ethiopian women in medicine enjoy equal rights and participation in leadership and decision-making structures.
Dereja.com is a business unit of Ethiojobs.net an Info Mind Solutions PLC which was established within the framework of ethioJobs, a leading HR firm in the country, to address the issue of youth employment by increasing the employability of Ethiopian youth.
After having recognized the apparent gap between the increasing number of physicians joining the medical workforce and the employment process change, in addition to its work in advocacy, EMeWA sought Dereja.com to find innovative ways to support its junior members. A training was designed tailored to the needs of female physicians based on a survey disseminated to its members.
About the training
The training is aimed in delivering skills sets which are easily missed within their academic journey and are vital for their professional journey they have started. This will help them develop personally and professionally by developing their skills in designing solutions to healthcare problems as well as aid them in their job search.
The training will be delivered from December 28th 2020 to January 5th 2021 for 20 female doctors who are members of EMeWA on a face to face format at a selected venue in Addis Ababa.

Step 2. After the registration is closed and if you are selected for the training, you will be notified by email about your status and follow up steps.
